5 Fun Facts About the Couple

Fun Facts about Joseph according to Crystal: 

1.  Joseph is a Postman, which is the perfect job for him. The second he smiles you are put at ease and instantly feel that you are in good company. He is exactly the kind of guy you want delivering your packages, petting your dog, and chatting with your mom about the weather.

2. Most of his favourite memories involve sports. Going to Juventus Stadium in Turin, Italy, sitting with the Toronto supporters and watching TFC win the MLS Cup in 2017, even his restaurant of choice when we visited LA was No.10 because Del Piero owns it.

3. Joe loves video games, and he has really great taste in music. These two things need to be said together because a lot of the music he likes he first heard while playing FIFA or NHL. 

4. He loves his family in a big way. He sees his Nonna and Nonno multiple times a week, he respects the opinion and advice of his parents, aunts, and uncles above all else, and he counts his sister and his cousins as some of his closest friends. 

5. When Joe was little, his favourite bathing suit was a Ninja Turtle speedo. He still loves the Ninja Turtles, but has promised not to bring a speedo to Mexico! 

   Fun facts about Crystal according to Joseph:

1. Crystal plans fundraising events for a local Hospice. She is extremely detail oriented and keeps everything running on schedule. Just a heads up though, she’ll likely be late for any event that she isn’t working.

2. Crystal grew up by the lake and is an outdoorsy person who loves to be close to nature. Though she cannot swim well at all! When she was 13 her dad paid her friend 5$ to push her off the dock near her home in an attempt to teach her how to swim. Don’t worry, she was saved.

3. Crystal loves animals. She’s amazing with our cat Beemo, who loves his morning cuddles and affectionate time with his mommy before she leaves for work. Dogs love her, kids love her, one time a coworker asked her if birds come and dress her in the morning.

4. Crystal is bit of an old soul, from music to entertainment. For example, one of her favourite movies is Hello Dolly. That movie is REALLY old… Barbara Streisand was really young but her nose was still really big!

5. Crystal has been skydiving twice, which in my books makes her extremely brave. She also can’t go swimming in the lake without water shoes because she's afraid of zebra muscles, which makes her extremely confusing. 

Love Story

Crystal and Joseph went to the same highschool, they had similar friend groups, they had been in the same room multiple times as teenagers, but they had never had an actual conversation until they matched on Hinge in their 30s. 

Their first date was proof that sometimes extraordinary things start in the simplest ways. They met at a Starbucks in Innisfil - Crystal had to ask because Joe was nervous - and they knew right away they had found someone special. They spent time traveling and growing together. They now live together and have a cat named Beemo, who makes them laugh almost as often as they make each other laugh. 

Joe had dreamed of going to California since he was little, so one of the first trips Crystal and Joe took together was to California. They watched the most beautiful sunset at the Santa Monica Pier, drove the Pacific Coast Highway and watch surfers in Huntington Beach and it was the best trip of their lives. 

On Easter weekend 2024 they went back to LA. Joe took Crystal to the Santa Monica Pier and found a quiet little corner where a busker was playing a violin. Joe got down on one knee and asked Crystal to marry him just as the sun was setting on their favourite place. 

Travel has been such an important part of their relationship, and Crystal and Joe are honoured and thrilled to share their biggest adventure yet with their friends and family at their destination wedding in Mexico.

How to book?

YOU MUST BOOK AND PAY A $250 DEPOSIT PER PERSON BY WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 9 2024 TO GUARANTEE THE PRICE AND YOUR SEAT.

To secure your seat, please fill in the form through the button below for each person wishing to travel. Once this is filled in you will be sent and required to fill in a payment form and an insurance form.

The deposit is $250 and this won’t be processed until AFTER the October 9th, 2024 deadline. The balance for the trip is payable by Thursday February 27th, 2025.

If you find cheaper pricing, please remember that the flights times may be different, you will need to pay extra for baggage and seat selection and you will not be kept with the group for flight seats and accommodation.

We do understand that sometimes you wish to book with another travel agent or online. If you decide to book outside the group we will not be able to assist you should something arise before or during your trip (think something like Covid 19). We can only act on behalf of the clients we book. For example, if the hotel was shut down for a reason, the group would be kept together and sent to a new resort. But anyone who booked outside of the group would be classed as an individual by the resort, and so could be placed in a different resort to the group.

Travel Insurance is highly recommended. Prices for insurance will be provided once you complete your BOOKING FORM.

Look Fabulous, Feel Cool
Wondering what to wear? The ceremony will be outside, so Crystal & Joseph would like you to take the opportunity to dress up, look and feel your best, but remember that you might be most comfortable in a breathable, temperature friendly outfit! Dress shorts are welcome, but please leave your Hawaiian shirts in your suite! Also (we’re looking at you ladies) be prepared to walk on some grass or some sand!

Gifts
Crystal & Joseph would like you to know that your presence at their wedding is all the gift they need. Gifts are not necessary. However for the guests who are unable to travel, and have expressed the desire to send something, cards can be sent to 929 Wickham Rd, Innisfil, ON L9S 0N5

Invitations
Formal invitations & itineraries will be emailed to every guest as we get closer to the wedding date. They will be emailed to the address provided on the booking form.
