Their Love Story

Rewind back to March 2020: the world shut down, masks became the new accessory and in person socialization became a big nope. Perfect time to enter the Toronto dating pool.

Enter: Hinge, Hanson and Laurel. Good time to note, Hanson was living in Vancouver, and conveniently forgot to change his profile location....

June 2020: After 3 months of lighthearted texting every day, including pictures of Laurel “accidentally” sending her childhood picture and Hanson climbing mountains, Hanson stated he was moving back to Toronto.

Hanson suggested Niagara wineries for first date, however Laurel said absolutely not, that’s dangerous. Who’s this guy trying to murder me. So, the first date ending up being on Sugar Beach in the sunshine, sharing drinks, sitting exactly 6 feet from one another because rule following was extremely important and getting ticketed was not ideal. Naturally, a 9 hour trip to Niagara was our second date.

As they say, the rest is history (after the continued weekly post-date panic that we would be joining those in weeklong quarantines).

September 2024: Since then, it has been 4.5 years of trips around the world, eating exotic foods, Hanson winning at sports in the park, Laurel winning at volleyball, and buying our first house together. We continue to fall more in love every day and consider ourselves so lucky to be spending the rest of our lives with our best friend.

We thank each one of you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued love and support as we celebrate the next chapter of our lives. Can’t wait to celebrate together in Mexico!

How to book?

YOU MUST BOOK AND PAY A $250 PER PERSON BY DECEMBER 16th, 2024 TO GUARANTEE THE PRICE AND YOUR SEAT.

To secure your seat, please fill in the form through the button below for each person wishing to travel. Once this is filled in you will be sent and required to fill in a payment form and an insurance form.

The deposit is $250 and this won’t be processed until AFTER the December 16th, 2024 deadline. The balance for the trip is payable by August 19th, 2025.

If you find cheaper pricing, please remember that the flights times may be different, you will need to pay extra for baggage and seat selection and you will not be kept with the group for flight seats and accommodation.

We do understand that sometimes you wish to book with another travel agent or online. If you decide to book outside the group we will not be able to assist you should something arise before or during your trip (think something like Covid 19). We can only act on behalf of the clients we book. For example, if the hotel was shut down for a reason, the group would be kept together and sent to a new resort. But anyone who booked outside of the group would be classed as an individual by the resort, and so could be placed in a different resort to the group.

Travel Insurance is highly recommended. Prices for insurance will be provided once you complete your BOOKING FORM.
